Art-net node connecting

Hi. So I assume that it is possible to use almost any art-net node with Photon app? For example Showtec NET 2/5 Pocket?
do I understand correctly that then I just need to connect node to router(with ethernet cable) and then connect iPad with that router network? no need for computer between node and iPad?
How about universes? Is it correct that for now Photon support only 1 universe?

iPad and node on same network, fill the ip of node in photon settings for more performance
