I am using Waveform to generate MIDI to control the lights. I have been using channel 1 and everything is working OK. I need to integrate this with other MIDI controlled foot pedals so need to change the channel to stop issues. If I use any channel from 2 to 16 photon2 no longer works as on channel 1, Lights just flash rather than toggling. Does Photon2 only work with channel 1 or is there something that I am missing.

I had a similar problem and sorted my setup out to only run on channel 1. I’d also like to hear if it is possible to work on other channels, but I don’t think so.
I started out on Channel 1 myself, but had keyboard that required channel one (actually it was too complicated for me to program to change it). I moved lights to channel 6 and haven’t had issues. Initially I used Ableton to build my lighting tracks and moved to using Cubase LE as my midi input following what Cali Creed does. Note, I set Photon to Flash vs Toggle and write the light notes up to the next without touching so to speak. See picture. I hope this helps.
Thanks for this, I am running my lights with toggle as not all tracks have a MIDI track with them so I want the last setting to continue. Eventually all tracks will have a MIDI track. It’s a shame that toggle only works with Channel 1.
