Bluetooth audio not working with Photon

I use stagetraxx to send midi commands to Photon, which has worked great until now. I noticed that bluetooth audio is not an option when Photon is open. The audio just routes to the built-in speakers. As soon as I close Photon the bluetooth audio works again.

I understand the mic feature interfering with core audio settings, but I don’t even use the mic with Photon (it’s disabled).

We need a way for Photon to stop taking over the audio settings and let the sound go through bluetooth.

I suspect this is because of beat tracking. At the very least, when beat tracking is set to ‘manual’ the bluetooth audio channel should be preserved. I was very disappointed to find that I couldn’t use the same iPad for both music and lighting control.
