Hi, I’m currently trying out photon (2.2.1) for the first time and I already have dozens of crashes (certainly from the same type of crash).

It happens when I’m navigating in and out a group controller. By the 10th I do this action, the app crashes.
Could you help me with thoses?

I’m really liking your app btw (I don’t even mind if you could let me access a testflight code to try out the midi controller feature )

It’s seems a macOs related issue
I have 13 reports of this specifically on MacBook Pro M1 and new M1 Pro/Max

Hi @neoternon,
You are the first known Mac user !

I am glad to hear that you are interested in photon but unfortunately you should encounter some problems because the app has been developed for iPad and not yet really adapted for Mac (even M1)

We will take this opportunity to start debugging this version so that it can work properly on your computer. This may take a little time though.

Hey, merci de prendre le temps de debugger, je dois être un cas à part mais je trouve justement que la feature midi en beta compense entièrement le manque de tactile sur le mac et trouve son usage.
Au final j’ai pu encore trouver un autre crash (plus simple je pense)

Comme je le disais plus haut, je voudrais bien accèder au dernier testflight de l’app afin de tester cette fameuse fonctionnalitée midi et faire parvenir d’autres rapports de crashs

Hey, I’m a Mac user too and ı want to sync Philips hue lights to my Ableton. I also have an iPhone but I don’t have an iPad. In my country, Philips hue is very expensive. I want to buy hue if ı can use it with Mac or iPhone. Should I buy it?

Photon works on iPad, Mac M1/M2 only, not on Intel Mac or iPhone.

Philips Hue are less responsive than DMX, so there may be some latency or lack of fluidity. But yes, Photon is Ableton + Hue compatible.

I’ll buy philips hue just for photon2. I want to ask last thing Can I create a 3-minute light show and autoplay it on a 3-minute song I made from ableton? I’m not looking for non-latency.
