Is this in the works? I really want this app but I don’t want to buy an iPad just to use it.

we are sorry but for the moment it is not a priority. We made some tests and the interface becomes very difficult to manipulate on a small screen, we do not really see how to make the interface user friendly. We understand that not everybody have an iPad but a Mac OS version may be more appropriate ?
The iPhone support is on our « todo list » but not in 2019.
Thank you for your feedback, we will notice you if we release an iPhone version.
A Mac OS version would be great too!
