can i create a subsequence of presets which runs unaltered in random mode?

It is not possible to create sequence of sequences. You can only create sequences of (random or not) presets
so in a random way if I have effects that have a value other than 1 beat the cadence of the effects will not be at the beginning of the beat but at random and will always drift, it would have been more convenient to have non-variable pre-set subsequences and execute the sequence main in random mode but always following the start of the bar
