Upgraded to Hue Bridge Pro but it’s not showing in the app — when will support be available?

Hey — I just upgraded to the new Philips Hue Bridge Pro, but I can’t see it in the app yet. Any idea when the app will support it?

Is your hue bridge pro in matter mode or hue mode ?

Hi! Same for me. New to photon. 4 normal bridges are detected. But not the two Philips hue pro bridges. Suppose to support bridges v2 and higher. Is the bridge pro supported? Does it work for anyone?

Unfortunately, the new bridge is completely different, and Photon integration isn’t native at all. It’s definitely an evolution we’ll need to address in the future, but for now, it’s not yet part of the Photon software update roadmap.

Currently, the app only supports the Hue Bridge v2, as mentioned on the App Store page.
We’re aware that this will have to change, we don’t plan to leave it as is. But for the moment, I’m afraid the new Pro Bridge won’t work yet, so you might encounter some issues for a while.

Hello,
I changed my answer for a good news. We contacted Philips to access to the new Philips Dev Kit and we will change the Photon Hue integration to be compatible with the new Pro Bridge.
Work in progress, be ready !
