Wash FX Hex Sound active mode wont work when in DMX mode

Hi, I have a Chauvet Was FX Hex and it works well but I just can’t get sound active mode to work when I turn it on through DMX. Is this a fixture issue or Photon issue and how might I fix it.

I am using it in 11ch and the manual has that on ch10 in the higher values it will be sound active mode. If I have everything else off and ch10 in the right range, the light has no output.

Please help.

Looking at the user manual then channel 11 needs to be set to 255 as its the dimmer channel for auto and sound programs.

I’ve tried that but it doesn’t seem to work. I initially thought ch11 was the master dimmer but as you said it’s for auto and sound. So I set all the channels as custom ones but that didn’t work either. The colours would only turn on when ch11 was active. Any other thoughts?
